The most frequently used method of participating in TRANSTREND's Diversified Trend Program is by means of a managed account. Managed accounts require a minimum Nominal Account Size of EUR or USD 10 million. Transtrend reserves the right to change the minimum Nominal Account Size, to apply a limit on the Nominal Account Size of existing managed accounts or not to accept new managed accounts. Nominal Account Size is the account size as agreed to by the client and Transtrend that establishes the level of trading.

TRANSTREND recommends investors to only consider an investment in its Diversified Trend Program for a minimum holding period of three years and to limit the investment to 10% or less of their overall investment portfolio.

TRANSTREND accepts Partially-Funded Accounts. These are accounts in which the amount of the Actual Funds (i.e. equity in an account over which Transtrend has trading authority and funds that can be transferred to that account without the client's consent to each transfer) is less than the Nominal Account Size (the balance is called Notional Funds).

TRANSTREND's current Disclosure Document shows the composite rates of return for each subset of comparable accounts based on the aggregate Nominal Account Size, including estimated interest income earned on Actual Funds.

The periodical rate of return of individual accounts may deviate from the composite rate of return of the subset they are part of. This can, amongst others, be a result of differences in markets traded and Nominal Account Sizes.
